    How it works

    The main motor of the pin-type sand mill is driven by a V-belt and a wedge-shaped pulley (with adjustable center of gravity), which spins the pin rotor mounted on the main shaft at high speed. This, in turn, sets the grinding media—zirconia beads—inside the grinding chamber into rapid motion, generating intense impact, shear, and friction forces that thoroughly grind and disperse the material.

    The rod-pin bead mill features a high-precision mechanical seal specifically designed for bead mills, ensuring exceptional assembly accuracy and long-lasting durability. The grinding chamber is completely sealed, minimizing air entrainment to prevent excessive bubble formation—and simultaneously reducing solvent evaporation, thereby mitigating environmental pollution. Additionally, this model incorporates a static screen-type diaphragm pump with a tubular central discharge system, allowing the separation of grinding media from the material being processed right at the center of the grinding chamber. Thanks to the self-cleaning action created by the movement of grinding beads across the device’s surface, clogging of the grinding media in narrow gaps is significantly reduced, effectively preventing material buildup issues. Depending on the desired fineness of the material, users can select grinding media and screen sizes tailored to their specific needs. This machine is ideally suited for handling a wide range of fluid materials with varying viscosities.
